A Profile of a Repeat Scammer From Mindanao, Philippines
Beware Scammers Who Use Pictures Like This One
We have several criminals who repeatedly create profiles on our site to solicit money from our members. Most of the profiles they attempt to create never go live on the site, because we eliminate them in the approval process. However, from time to time we miss one. Here is an example of one we missed recently. We are ashamed that we missed this one, because this individual has already stolen thousands of dollars from members at our site. Her name goes by various phrasings of a common theme, and her profiles with ages in the 20s have phrases like “Relationships are just like a receipe or a mirror. What ever you put in you will get back. Just to let you know. I am a Christian. However, I don`t practice my faith like others.” and “My future man may go to church as he feels necessary though ~>Someone who believes in UNCONDITIONAL LOVE When you need someone to encourage you, I want it to be me.” In other words, this scammer and others like her know exactly what to write to appear sincere, and yet she is a deceitful person. She even has phrases like, “I VALUE NOTHING MORE THAN HONESTY ! IT IS THE FOUNDATION OF EVERY SOLID RELATIONSHIP AND ENCOURAGES TRUST AND RESPECT ! I DESPISE LIARS !LOVE IS NOT WONDERING HOW LONG IT WILL LAST BUT HOW STRONG 2 HEARTS CAN MAKE IT GROW!” How many innocent men has she charmed with these borrowed phrases? We suspect that based on the money she has stolen from members of this site and probably other sites, this criminal steals around $20,000 per year. Don’t let yourself be one of the victims of this person or anyone like her.
This individual represents the epitome of the criminals who live by taking advantage of others. Here is an example of one of her emails to one member:

Not if you want to do the best you can and make sure you’re finding that special someone you can love and spend the rest of your life with.

Typical Indecent Picture - Any Member Who Is Not Modest, Who Posts Pictures With Revealed Shoulders or Legs on A Christian Site, Is Not Respectful
Some items that should immediately raise your suspicion:
- she attempts to include a personal email in an initial contact. Contact information like this is prohibited in exchanges between free level members according to our terms of service. Indeed, we catch many scammers based on this, followed by additional research. We strongly encourage you to never give out your email address or to contact any other member except through the site’s messaging and chat features. This is because the criminals like this one know we monitor site communications, so they attempt as quickly as possible to get away from the site that they can fool our members without us catching them.
- her pictures are indecent and vain
- she’s too confident and formal; clearly she’s sending a form letter
- she just joined recently
What should you do if you encounter someone you think is a scammer?
- If you aren’t sure, you can always email the site owners to ask their opinion – use the Feedback link at the bottom of the page, or reply to any email message from the site
- Always use our site for communication, and have a firm rule against giving out your personal contact information
- Inform anyone you are chatting with right away that you have a firm rule against sending money to someone you have not met in person
- If any member solicits money directly or indirectly plays a guilt game, please forward us the message or text and allow us to take appropriate action.
What should you do if you get tricked by a scammer?
- Maybe you did not take our advice and decided to send money to someone you met over the internet. Most likely it did not work out, because it is not the right way to start a mature relationship. It’s time to learn a lesson. Don’t do it again. Please inform us if this happens to you, so that we can permanently remove the member’s profile. Remember, if anyone comes up with a tall tale about needing money for an operation, or school, or medicine, etc, etc, it is simply a lie. The same thing goes for sending money for any scheme to try to do some business venture in Nigeria or anywhere else. It’s simply a vacuous sales pitch.
- Next time, take our advice – write in your profile (or in your messages) that you have a firm rule against sending money to people you have not met; plan a trip to the Philippines where you will meet several people, and don’t send any money or become emotionally involved with any one until you’ve had the chance to meet several people in person.
- Take it easy on yourself. Maybe you lost a lot of money. Ok, let it go. It has happened to many other people also. You are not alone. We know it hurts. If it didn’t, you might not be able to learn from it. Let it go, move on, and be more careful next time.
- And by all means, if you ever meet someone like this again in person or over the internet, just say, “Sorry, I’ve got to go,” turn around, and go somewhere else to meet people who are more deserving of your company.

Looks like she’s an Amerasian,(American/Asian)judging from her skin, she’s smooth and fair, she must have been living abroad and came to Mindanao just to visit. What a pity! She could easily find a man, with her good looks, not to mention her age,(20?)in the neighborhood,in school or at work, etc.In my opinion, this girl belongs to a professional criminal group of scammers cashing in, thousands of dollars the easy way!
I was a victim as well but in asian kisses site, and it is still painful as I lost money and the love I entrusted he betrayed me. He let me believe that he loves me and even let me chat to his daughter. I am now careful being a victim and I appreciate very much to this site as you put your blogs to help all your members being victimized by scammers. I don’t know about the ethnicity of this individual in the pictures, as photos can always be modified and people like this might wear contact lenses as they are pathologically separated from reality, but you can also look at facebook profile and friendster pages of the same person at http://www.facebook.com/rosebelfajardo http://profiles.friendster.com/23351526 and http://profiles.friendster.com/57434600. Adding together the friends listed on those profiles, she has about 6,000 admirers. How many one might wonder have sent her money “to rescue her from the evil creditors where she had to pawn her parent’s house title to rescue her grandmother from the hospital”. Stay away from this one, guys!

To be honest, we just suspect that she is from Mindanao because in two of the (suspended) profiles she created with similar descriptions and similar pictures on our site she wrote, “Zamboanga Del Sur” and “Davao City Davao” – but with the income stream she probably has from the many websites where she can no doubt be found with her ongoing frauds, she probably has the flexibility to get around – and the desire to try to escape the consequences of her actions.

This usually happens in online dating. It is not only women who does this kind of stuff, also guys. I have met 4 or 5 male scammers and believe me, they sound very convincing. They also sound like a dream… It is up to us to be very cautious and careful with people we chat with. These people will give you lines you can never imagine coming from the lips of a scammer. Well, there’s nothing wrong, when you banned a person on the internet like her (Rosebel Monique Fajardo)… Just as long as it is proven by evidence, or some documents, or letter, that she asked money at the internet. There should be a clear/valid and reliable evidence, or else, this is not justifiable on her side. So degrading and shameful her actions or behavior, but if such, there should really be a standard disciplinary action towards her, to STOP, this kind of misconduct.
I don’t want to be tag as scammer. I also experience being cheated in this dating site but I just keep it to myself.

I knew someone who lived near me and she was cheating foreign guys on the internet and her friends were helping her. True it’s not only women that are doing this, many men also do it.

The best thing to do is write or connect with 5 to 10 good prospects and delete the ones that develope financial problems and need help. They will say say things like I tell everyone my foreign boyfriend is so giving…blah blah blah. The best way to get even is waste their precious time because they are so low on their internet load. I am a christian.. and am new on this site.. but as i observed why is it so a big deal if someone asked for some help in a form of money..? It is not at all bad and ungodly guys.. for as long as the money given is used oappropriately.. Yeah.. looks can be decieving.. but not all good looking persons are free from problems.. we all have problems..

oh no… not “rosebel”… hehehe… “her” profile with the pretty face and the blue shiny satin blouse was one of the first profiles i read at this website (and i even saved it to respond to later)…. i actually liked most of her words, especially when she wrote that her christian faith is “relationship not ritual”…. those words appealed to me, because that is also the way i am in my personal relationship with JESUS… anyway, for a variety of reasons, i never “got around” to contacting “her”… hehehe… i suppose i should be very thankful to our sovereign GOD that HE protects me from the “shark”… hehehe… i would not have sent her any money anyway (because that is my personal policy), but i am thankful i didn’t waste a lot of precious time with “her”… yes, the pictures show a very pretty girl, but there is much more to a good relationship than “looks”…

I’m sure you’re right; from what we’ve learned of people like this, they work full-time creating profiles at all Asian dating sites.
When we researched the Nigerian scammers (who also work full-time creating fake profiles at all dating and social networking sites), we learned that they usually have hierarchical teams. The entry level scammers work all day to create fake profiles; then if there is ever an email going to any of those fake profiles, a more experienced scammer will take over and try to set up a scam; finally, if they are successful in tricking someone, a final top-level scammer will be called in to “close the sale” and then try to keep extracting money giving more and more terrible twists to their fictions.
We suspect some of the Philippine scammers also are beginning to team up in this way, creating fake profiles, thinking that if their workers create one dozen fake profiles, maybe we will incorrectly approve one of them. It’s hard to keep ahead of the tide of these scammers, as they are constantly refining their techniques and submitting dozens of false profiles. Inevitably we miss some of these and rely on our members to promptly report those to us. But we’re proud that our members report to us that our site has the lowest percentage of the scammers and the highest percentage of genuine, sincere ladies and gentlemen of all the Asian dating sites. Thanks for your help in continuing to report suspicious behavior and violations of our terms of service to us.

Hi Sony and Crazy and others, Well, to be clear, there is actually no way to know whether there is 1 or more of this person, and whether the one in the photos is even the one doing the current scamming. They could be just stolen pictures. Over the internet you never know. It could be just one person, or it could be that many people have fake IDs with this name and/or find it an inspiring picture to use in scamming. Some of the people may even be gay men, as we have sometimes seen in scam scenarios. I hope you have read our other blog entries also. So by all means, have fun with it if you feel that is best for you. Feel free to post any of the current letters or contact info when you feel you are ready to, so that any others who search the internet can find this page. Sometimes we think it would be appropriate to set up some kind of trap, or even to try to trick to scam the scammers into sending money. But we never have, because we believe that the best answer to this problem is education and avoidance of people like this. You can risk getting distracted from what is actually important to you, if you spend too much time pursuing dead ends.
This person is a certifiable crook, a top and well seasoned scammer, one of the worst scammers I have ever seen. I chatted with her in another dating site ALMAsianLoveMatch and I could see clearly where she was going. I strongly suspect that this is more the work of a gang, a criminal group than an individual acting alone. Mind you, she opens the chatting with the classical horror stories to make people feel pity on her. Stuff like “I lost both my parents in a motorcycle accident when I was just 3 years old”. “I live with my granny and we go days without eating, just drinking cold water to calm down the pain in our stomachs”. “I do hand laundry for neighbours to make a little money, etc” Anyways, she claims she does not have a cam and live a miserable life and next she sends a bunch of pics wearing brand name clothing, jewellery, wearing an orthodontic retainer on her lower teeth (I am a dentist, I noticed that right away), when the cost of such treatment is prohibitive for 95% of the Filipino people, they are extremely poor, I have been there, is one of the most miserable places on Earth. The old story, the small upper class live like kings, the majority of the people does not know where the next meal will come from and when. My hunch is her “pictures” are from a young rookie model or transplanted from Facebook without the knowledge and consent of the actual person i the pic. Since I know a bit of the Phils, specially Mindanao, I caught several discrepancies and contradictions and when the person chatting with me (I think it was a ladyboy, lots of them in Thailand and Philippines) realized how much I knew about her/his country, she stopped chatting. Nothing was right. I tracked her IP address, he/she was not where she claimed she was. It looks like it comes from somewhere in a province in North Zamboanga and not Davao del Norte how she claimed. She claimed to be a Nursing student, which is utterly impossible. How could a person than claims that can not afford to have a decent meal, pay the tuition for a College. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Phils, I think the vast majority of the Filipino people, even though they are poor, are honest and sincere. I have several Filipino friends and I would not hesitate to marry a pinay (Filipina). Any gentleman that is blessed by the Lord with a true Filipina, a God fearing person, will get an excellent wife for life. A good mother for his children, a decent, honest and loyal person. It is not the case here. This perso (or persons), he/she (or them), deserve to be investigated by the NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) and the Interpol and go to the Cebu prison, where they belong. A lot of people are turning away from Filipinas, because people like this, which is not fair. But it is like making an orange juice, using 11 good oranges and one rotten one. The whole fruit juice will be spoiled and taste bad. Because of a few, the Philippines today, together with Nigeria and Russia/Ukraine, is considered a bad place place to look fora suitable wife. Just 25 years ago, pinays were considered perhaps the best “asawas” (wives) in the world, honest, loyal to the extreme, ready to die for their family and friends of their husbands till their last breath. It is a pity and a shame what people are doing with the reputation of both, the Phils and the Filipinas. God Almighty will punish these rotten oranges.
felt sorry for this womans name and pictures that has been circulating on the internet.one rotten fruit affects all the rest of the fruits..i’m talking about her pictures that has been used by the so called scammer/scammers.what happens to the pictures once you duplicate it?it multiplies and thats exactly what happens here.some of her pictures ended up in a wrong hands..hands of evil doer.
